Pegasus - Reflect and Review

Dear Parents and Carers,

We have had a great week of learning in Pegasus class. In Maths, we have been measuring objects around the classroom in cm and m and comparing different lengths. In English, we have been finishing our setting descriptions from The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe. 

In Science, we have been learning about habitats and microhabitats. We have been using the forest school area to create our own bug hotels through creating our own microhabits and observing the minibeasts that live there.

In English and RE, we have been exploring the Easter story creating our own freeze frames to understand the thoughts and feelings of different characters during the events of Palm Sunday. We observed the events in the Garden of Gethsemane and explored and drew our own special places at home and why these make us feel happy.

Next week:

In Maths, we will be finishing comparing and ordering different lengths and heights. We will be finishing learning about the Easter story in RE.

• 26th March - Easter Service at SS Peter and Paul's Church 10am start leaving school 9:15am
• 27th March - Mufti Day for HSA, End of Term 1pm, Suggested Donation of £1 per family.
