Pegasus - Reflect and Review
Dear Parents and Carers,
We have had a great week of learning in Pegasus class. In Maths, we have been learning how to measure in millilitres, litres and comparing volume and capacity. In English, we have been creating our own story maps to plan our own slug narrative, choosing our choice of predator and hiding place for our slug. We used time adverbials to sequence the events and post-it notes to explore the thoughts and feelings of different characters.
In Science, we have been exploring the properties of everyday materials. We conducted experiments to test the absorbency of different fabrics as well as elasticity, durability and bounciness of different materials.
Next week:
Please remember to do the Maths homework ready to hand in on Monday.
In English, we will be writing our own slug narrative using our story maps from this week. In Maths, we will be finishing comparing volume and capacity and then recap fractions from last term.
In Science, we will identify the differences between the properties of materials that are tough and flexible and conduct experiments to explore rigidity of different materials.
We have a lot of unnamed uniform in school at the moment, please ensure that your child's uniform is all named so that it can make its way back to you.
