Junior Parkrun Report – 9^th November

It was a dingy, misty morning up on Harcourt Hill, but the sun managed to break through just as 28 participants set off at 9am! At least 13 of those were from Team North Hinksey – again, I think I saw 2 more TNH but without barcodes, I’m afraid I have a terrible memory!

We had 2 official First Timers this week – welcome Ariadne and Louis! We also had an amazing 5 PBs, so Ben, Charlotte, Chloé, Jack and Yusuf all completed their fastest 2k ever - well done! Congratulations to Jack for also being the first TNH through the finish funnel!

This week we had all the Early Years, KS1 and lower KS2 classes covered with Florence, Oz and Daisy, Dania, Danny and Gil – can we entice some Upper KS2 participants next week I wonder!

EXCITING NEWS JUST IN! Our next Themed Event will be 21^st December (I know it’s only just November, but it helps to plan ahead!) This will be a Christmas Theme and we look forward to seeing your amazing outfits!

Now, next week I am away! There will not be a detailed run report, but if I get a chance I will write something based on the result page! It also means you won’t see me cheering you on at one of the marshal posts, but I will be back the following week!
