Junior Parkrun School Report 16^th November

I wasn’t there to watch or cheer this week as I was spending a sunny weekend in Jersey, HOWEVER I can see that 13 participants from Team North Hinksey took part – well done!
Alkinoos has now officially become a first-timer (even though this is his 3^rd!) Welcome to the club!
Congratulations to Yusuf for getting another PB (fastest time round the course EVER!) and knocking spots off his previous time! Well done to William for being the first from TNH to enter the finish funnel, and second overall  – amazing! William is a prime example of a parkrun tourist! He has visited 6 different parkruns in his last 10 runs and it goes to show that going away for a weekend doesn’t mean missing parkrun!

Jack and Florian finished within 1 second of each other – I bet that was a photo finish – and it was lovely to have Charlotte and Solly, and Oz and Gil, making up some family doubles! Another photo finish was between Solly and Daisy – these are close timings folks! Chloé finished her third ever event and Danny completed his 95^th!  It just goes to show that you can easily get bitten by the parkrun-bug!

I will be back up there on Sunday so am looking forward to seeing you and watching how you get on. Look out for me, out on the course, cheering you on!

Don’t forget this date for your diary – 21^st December Christmas Junior Parkrun – come in your Santa hats and elf costumes! Can’t wait!
